We need to hear it ASAP!

In September, BTS and Coldplay took the world by storm with their epic collaboration on “My Universe.” Since that time, the two groups have performed live together and treated fans of both groups to a lot of content!

When the collaboration was first announced, it was a huge thing for ARMYs. It was also huge for the members, as many of them had voiced their love for Coldplay on more than several occasions.

In particular, one person who has always been vocal about their love for the group is member V! Even before there were any thoughts about the song, V always said he wanted to work with the group.

The members of BTS recently sat down with Vogue Korea and discussed different parts of their career and also how each of them felt working with Coldplay.

During V’s interview, he explained that there was a behind-the-scenes moment that wasn’t shared with fans but was an important moment for him. He explained that he’d actually sung the demo version of the track in full.

“It doesn’t appear in the video, but actually, when the vocal guide demo came out in English, I sang it from beginning to end.”

Of course, there is no denying that whenever V sings in English or Korean, his tone is beautiful and easily attracts the love and attention of fans worldwide. Yet, it seems as if it isn’t just ARMYs who fall for V’s vocal charms, as he explained the reaction of the Coldplay members.

“The Coldplay members listened and complimented me, saying I was like the second Chris Martin. I’ve listened to that recording a lot since!”

It isn’t the first time Chris Martin has had nothing but praise for V and his vocals. After the track was released, BTS shared some behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions.

Even though ARMYs couldn’t get enough of the interactions between Chris Martin and the members, one particularly stood out. While V was recording his part, the look of happiness on Chris Martin’s face couldn’t be missed, even when he tried to sing the same part in Korean.

However, it was Chris’s reaction after V finished recording his part that had ARMYs touched. Every time V repeated his line, Chris immediately expressed so many compliments to the idol, including telling V, “Yeah, that was perfect.”

Considering how much of a fan V is of Coldplay, it isn’t surprising that he was very excited about being praised both times by the members. Hopefully, Coldplay or BTS will release the demo version sung by V at some point.
